We are the world’s largest charity dedicated to saving lives through research.
Our vision is to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
We fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. We also provide cancer information to the public
A number of bodies work together to ensure that we make the best use of the funds we receive and continue to carry out world-class research.
We are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to solely create awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling the knowledge and tools they need to get to know their bodies. We like to talk about a serious message in a light-hearted way, empowering people to start healthy habits for life.
We want everyone to have the best possible chance of surviving breast cancer. Ideally we want to live in a world where all breast cancers are diagnosed at the earliest stage possible, at which treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher.
Heads Together is a mental health initiative spearheaded by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which combines a campaign to tackle stigma and change the conversation on mental health with fundraising for a series of innovative new mental health services.
We are a proud partner charity of the Heads Together Campaign, and our work specifically focuses on improving the mental wellbeing and prospects of children, by providing expert counselling services within the school environment. We believe that children should not have to face mental health problems alone, and that every child should have the vital support they need to help them build life-long coping skills and to thrive.
We currently work in 390 schools across the UK.
The Mix is a free, confidential information and support service for under 25s, helping over 3 million young people in the UK each year. Young people can choose how they access our support, without the worry of anyone else finding out. Whether it be through our articles, video content, phone, email, peer-to-peer chat or counselling services - whatever issue a young person is facing, The Mix is always here for them.
Life is hard, but support doesn’t have to be.
All expenses are being paid for by a combination of Entry Fees and our generous Corporate Partners.
Therefore every single penny raised by people taking part in Inspired4Life events will go towards our charitable causes.
From 2019 onwards all money raised will be split as follows:
45% Cancer Research UK, 25% CoppaFeel!, 10% Place2Be, 10% The Mix & 10% towards Inspired4Life’s own community and diversity programs
